
CURRICULUM
St. Annes Early Learning Center create a fun and safe learning environment that balances active times with quiet times. We offer a holistic approach to learning wich includes:
Each age grouphas its very own unique curriculum based on the child age and abilities.


INFANTS : ( 6 WEEKS - 15 MONTHS )
Focus on nurturing, exercising and movement through play. Recording diaper changing times, melatimes and nap times. Experienced teacher will incorporate activities to observe how each infant responds to visual, hearing and movement .
TODDLERS ( 15 MONTHS - 2 YEARS )
Focus on weekly themes which allow children to explore the world around them, through activities and play.

2 YEARS OLDS:
Concentrate on colors, shapes, ABCs, numbers, independence, identifying, classifying and weekly themes.
*** Toilet Training: When the child begins to show readiness, we will work along with the parents or guardiansto develop a program wich will help your child develop the skills her or she needs to archive this stage in his or her development.
3 YEARS OLDs:
Work with weekly themes which help to develop verbal sighting of ABCs, numbers, shapes and colores.
They are also encouraged to develop. cutting, coloring and painting skills.


PRE - K :
Concentrate on those skills which will be needed for kindergarten. The children are encouraged to trace and write letter adn number. They learn their phone, numbers, addresses, months of the year and days of the week. The children are introduced to early phonics skills, pre-math and science skills.
KINDERGARTEN:
The students will be introduced to a variety of subjects that include but not limited to following: reading, math, phonics, handwriting skills and science. They will be involved in many activities that include science, social studies, music, art and poetry.
The childrren are also encouraged to learn through play. Each classroom is set up in interest areas (science, music, dramatic play, gross motor, fine motor, art, library and manipulative ) These areas encourage children to develop mental , social and physical skills needed throughout her lives.
